Since its incorporation in 1980, GIMV has grown into a major European and international market player with offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France and a team of more than 30 investment professionals. GIMV invests in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Life Sciences as well as in Growth Financing (MBO). With its own portfolio and third party fund activities together, GIMV manages more than EUR1.5 billion.
For the ICT investments, GIMV will mostly act as an early stage investor with an initial ticket size ranging from EUR 0.5 to 5 million. Over the different financing rounds GIMV can invest up to EUR 25 million.
GIMV has been listed on Euronext Brussels since 1997.
